Palomar Ends PCC Women's Basketball Season In Round 1 Playoff

The #21-seed Pasadena City College women's basketball team started out like it was ready to give the #12 Palomar Comets a challenge in their SoCal Regional Playoff Round 1 game on Wednesday night. The Lancers rolled out to a 12-6 lead and then only trailed 17-15 after one quarter.

The Pasadena City College women's basketball team is the #21 seed and will travel to face #12 Palomar in Round 1 of the Southern California Regional Playoffs on Wednesday, Feb. 25. Tip-off is 7 p.m.

Women's Hoops Wins With 3--Not Basket, 3 Players Left In OT

The Pasadena City College women's basketball team redefined the phrase "playing short-handed" on Wednesday evening. The Lancers lost not only a 17-point lead, but lost three players fouling out in the fourth quarter as they went to overtime with just three players on the floor v. East Los Angeles.

Women's Cagers Finally Earn SCC North Win

The Pasadena City College women's basketball team broke the program's 11-game losing streak in South Coast Conference North Division play dating back two years by using defense to outlast Rio Hondo, 42-38, on Wednesday night at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.

Women's Basketball Collects 2 More Wins To End Pre-Conference Play

A gutty 6-player, Pasadena City College women's basketball team put together two distinctly different type home wins this week in upping its record to 11-9 overall. The Lancers will finally begin the South Coast Conference, North Division schedule next Friday, Jan. 23 in hosting state #24-ranked Los Angeles Trade-Tech.

Women's Cagers Can't Catch Up v. State #25 Long Beach

Over the final three quarters of Thursday's contest v. visiting Long Beach City College, the Pasadena CC women's basketball team outscored the state's #25-ranked team, 38-34. Unfortunately for the Lancers, they were already in a 19-5 hole after the game's first 10 minutes as the Vikings handed them a 53-43 defeat. It was a team season low in scoring for the Lancers.

Jackson's Late 3 Allows Women's Basketball To Go 1-1 At Ventura Tourney

Kennedy Jackson drained the game-winning, 3-point basket with just seven seconds left as the Pasadena City College women's basketball team got past Oxnard, 55-53, as part of the 2-day, Ventura VC Optimist Holiday Classic played Dec. 26-27.

Short-Handed Women's Basketball Guts Through MiraCosta Tourney

Injuries continued to plague the Pasadena City College women's basketball team as it was down to just six available players for nearly the entire MiraCosta Holiday Classic Dec. 17-19. The Lancers did their best with a win over Cuyamaca and two huge rallies in two defeats v. state #6-ranked MiraCosta and San Diego City.

Rare Triple-Double By Fletcher Ignites Women's Hoops In PCC Crossover Finale

Kamora Fletcher became just the fifth player in Pasadena City College women's basketball history to record a triple-double as the Lancers closed out the PCC Crossover Tourney with an 80-41 romp over San Diego City on Saturday afternoon.

Women's Basketball Takes 2nd At Moorpark Invitational

The Pasadena City College women's basketball team had a 3-game win streak stopped in the championship game of the Moorpark We Are MC Invitional on Saturday, but the Lancers went 2-1 overall and placed second in the 8-team tourney played Nov. 6-8.
